In March 2010, the first Greentech air purifier GT3000 was produced in the USA. Using the same active air purification technology developed and used by NASA, the GT3000 (now pureAir 3000) continuously cleans the air and surfaces in rooms up to 280 m2. In 2019, Greentech was introduced in the Netherlands by Essence4Life and we are proud to say that we have successfully distributed the entire range of Greentech air purification units in the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain and Ireland. Most air filters on the market today clean the air PASSIVELY; that is, they filter the air by sucking it in. Not only do these filters clog up after a while and lose their effectiveness; on the other hand, they spit out particulate matter like an old-fashioned vacuum cleaner. They also do not remove odours from the air.
What makes Greentech so special is that it uses ACTIVE technology and Odogard®️. Active means that it charges air particles with a light electrical + and - charge while blowing, so that they are attracted to each other, clump together, become heavy and fall to the ground. The Odogard filter then filters out odours and VOC's (volatile organic compounds) from the air. Examples are gases such as CO2, formaldehyde (gases from wooden floors or plastic, etc.) or from cleaning products, paint, insect repellents, air fresheners and gases that enter the house through the ground, such as radon, etc. Some of them cause cancer. If desired, a HEPA filter my be added for people prone to allergic reactions and asthma attacks. All units have a 5 year manufacturer's warranty on all electrical components.
